My name is Misha. I’m a visual and tactile artist, photographer, forest bather, foodie, forager, dancer, traveler, visionary, hermit and social butterfly.
I’m inspired by raw, natural beauty, synchronicity, depth, human form and the stories that light tells as it highlights and emerges from people. I’m drawn to what happens when we meet in the middle and create something entirely new and beautiful together.
I photograph people in moments of transformation, ceremony, retreat, celebration, contemplation, and in their creative work. Or simply, yet profoundly, in the particular season of life they’re in.
I was born and raised in Northern California and currently live in Sonoma County, on Coast Miwok and Pomo territory. This landscape deeply informs the way I see and create.
